Do I have to leave deposit for car rental company renting the car in Venice?
On arrival by the local car rental company, you have to provide a credit card in your name. A security deposit will be blocked for the rental period. The deposit is usually the same amount as liability excess of Collision Damage Waiver. As soon as you return the car in the same condition as it was recollected the security deposit will be unblocked. In case that you cause some damage, you will be charged from your deposit. Please note that the amount of the deposit depends on the car category and the local rental car agency. The amount of deposit you will find in the terms and conditions of the particular car.
Is it possible to pick up my car late at night?
Some of the companies work after opening hours in order to provide you with the best service. Processing with your booking you will be asked to choose your pick-up time at the website. As long as you can see the green button BOOK NOW it means you are able to pick up your car at the indicated time. Please, be advised that some of the rental car agencies may apply an extra charge for out f hour service. You will find it in the terms and conditions. In order to check opening hours of selected rental car agency, you can click on the car picture. You will see easily the opening hours for the most agencies.
Can I rent a specific car brand or model?
As an internet car rental broker, we offer cars filtered by category. The car can be chosen by a specific group. You can choose from filters on our website, for instance, MINI, ECONOMY or SUV etc. Exact brand or models cannot be guaranteed. The vehicles you see online are examples based on the most common vehicle in the fleet for each category. If you choose the car on the website you will be given a car in the selected size. We also offer a filter to find automatic or diesel cars available. So we will confirm the size and the filter you have selected.
Where I am supposed to pick up my rental car?
When you make a reservation on our website, you will have to choose the location where you wish to pick up your car. To find your location it is enough to type the three first letters of it. Then you will see all our offices available in the particular location. As soon as you choose the place of car pick up you can click at selected car picture in order to check the exact address of the local office. When your reservation is confirmed by the local agency we sent the rental confirmation voucher to your e-mail address. On the voucher, you will find all necessary information regarding your pick up a location. Like the exact address and telephone number. In case that you cannot find the local rental car office on arrival, please call the number provided on the voucher.
How long it takes to unblock the deposit?
There is a security deposit blocked on your credit card meanwhile the rental. It will be unblocked on the safe return of the car. In case of any damages caused during your car rental period, a certain amount can be discounted from your deposit. The amount of blocked security deposit may last up to 20 working days to appear back on your credit card. This process totally depends on the banks involved. If 20 days passed and you still not see the security deposit amount at your account we recommend contacting car rental agency direct.
